New Media Lab Meetings

    Greetings!

    Please join us at one or more of the New Media Lab general meetings this semester! At each gathering, two graduate student researchers present their digital projects for discussion. The New Media Lab is one of the few places at the Graduate Center where interdisciplinary exchange occurs between students, faculty and staff. Some projects are well under way and others are in nascent stages but they always solicit interesting discussion on substantive, methodological or technical issues. Please mark your calendars with the dates below and I will send updates as specific presentations are scheduled.

    • Wednesday, February 21, 12:30 – 2:00 – Christina Katopodis presents.
    • Thursday, March 22, 12:30 – 2:00
    • Tuesday, April 17, 12:30 – 2:00
    • Wednesday, May 2, 12:30 – 2:00 – Anders Axel Wallace presents.

    And, for those of you who have worked at the Lab in the past and are still GC students, please note that you may apply for the $1,000 NML Digital Dissertation Award this semester. Contact Joe Kirchhof if you have questions, and if you are eligible, please apply.
