Apologies for not reaching out to you some time ago on this, but John Jay is looking to build a culture of digital public scholarship with the hiring of a Research Communications Manager. We’re about midway through the search window and have seen some cvs that look promising on first glance, but digital scholarship projects requires both current knowledge of an ever-changing landscape, and an ability to translate smoothly between the worlds of academia and popular media, public policy, etc. I know from personal experience that these are the kinds of skills a lot of students develop in their time at the GC.
