We connect educators from every campus and discipline at CUNY who are interested in games, simulations, and other forms of interactive teaching. We seek to facilitate the pedagogical uses of both digital and non-digital games, improve student success, and encourage research and scholarship in the developing field of games-based learning.

Game Design Degrees in CUNY

    I am Peter Altman the Coordinator of Admissions for the CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies. We are a CUNY-wide bachelor’s program in which students design unique degrees by combining coursework from different academic departments and institutions within the University.

    Increasingly, our applicants are utilizing the program to pursue degrees in the games industry. Some recent examples include: Game Design and Programming, Game Music and Sound Design, Digital Game Project Management and Game Narrative.

    Our next Information Session for interested students is scheduled for March 3rd at 12:30pm on Zoom. Registration is available here.
