Help with getting a student signed up for my class website

    Hello,

    I am a first time user of the CUNY Commons sites. I transitioned both of my classes from Blackboard to here this semester. One of my students is having trouble getting an account on CUNY Commons and I am getting concerned that there is no one to help us out. We have emailed the help desk a few days ago. I am getting concerned as it is a week into the school year and I cannot help my student with the error they are getting while trying to register. They get the following error message: “You don’t have permission to access /register/ on this server”

    What might we do to correct this error and have them register successfully?

    Hi Yana,

    Things have been busy over the past week with the Commons helpdesk, but I’m
    fairly sure we’ve gotten to the requests we’ve received. Can you please
    write a separate message to support@cunycommons.zendesk.com indicating what
    needs to be done?

    If you forward to that email address a copy of what you sent earlier, we
    can also try to track down previous correspondence.

    Yana – I didn’t see your email arrive at ZenDesk, but have created a new one and have answered you there now. Sorry for the confusion.

    Did you ask your students to write to support@cunycommons.zendesk.com as well? I’m hoping I may have solved this problem for some individuals.
