    • Hi Elin and all,

Thanks for sharing this event info!

I super appreciate this attention to the first year of teaching experience. Note that most of the sociology first-years are in Stats II meeting from 11:45am to 3pm on Wednesdays, not Tuesdays. We are all in contemporary sociological theory from 11:45am to 1:45pm on Tuesdays, but a lot of students in the cohort have one or two more classes that day so I wouldn’t recommend a Tuesday if the idea is to focus on first year of teaching.

      Best regards,

      Gina

      • Hi Gina,
Thanks for sharing ideas about potential dates, I will also email you, Lok and Elin to make sure we all get the email. Do you think that an in-person event would be too hard to organize and that we may just be in better shape organizing something on zoom on a day where there aren’t as many required classes? Thanks!

        Devrim

      • Yes I think a Zoom is going to be much easier to organize. I can’t do May 6, but I’d be interested in hearing from first years about good times. Can you possibly talk to each other and come up with a few suggestions?

        Elin
