Shared Access Research Ecosystem, or Share
Posted by Monica Berger (She/her/hers) on June 9, 2013 at 11:08 amIn contrast to CHORUS, SHARE is another initiative in the news. I thought this piece in the Chronicle was very interesting. A coalition of higher ed. groups including the Association of Research Libraries wants federal monies to strengthen and sustain the infrastructure of existing institutional repositories but to also allow for piggy-backing for institutions without repositories. What I’m hoping is that the end-result will include a meta-hub that would provide for search across all the institutions.
