Announcement by Maura A. Smale on 9/23/10
Posted by Maura A. Smale (she/her) on September 23, 2010 at 1:22 amHello colleagues,
The City Tech and Brooklyn College libraries are planning several events for Open Access Week in mid-October to discuss open access publishing issues (PR coming soon!). One of the City Tech programs will focus on open access curricular materials: textbooks, course readers, and other information sources for our students.
Our program includes several City Tech faculty who are using open access or public domain materials in their teaching. We are seeking a faculty member who assigns an open access textbook in their course(s) to share their insights at our program. If you or someone you know is interested and fits the bill, please get in touch with me here on the Commons or via email: [email protected].
Many thanks!
Maura
