    I came across the Pompeii Bibliography and Mapping Project, which is from the Digital Humanities Initiative at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. They use Zotero to keep the citations about Pompeii. “Specifically, we are working to map the landscape of publications about Pompeii onto the space of the ancient city itself, creating a unified, bi-directional interface to both resources.”

    Sounds really cool.

    It is! Run by Eric Poehler at UMass Amherst – mixes GIS + bibliographic data. He works on traffic patterns at Pompeii
