Maggie is a PhD student in History at the City University of New York Graduate Center, where their research focuses on queer and trans organizing for affordable housing in New York City from the 1960s to 1990s. Maggie has over a decade of experience working at the intersection of archives and public history, focused on documenting grassroots and community history through collaborative and post-custodial approaches. Maggie is a Digital Fellow at the CUNY Graduate Center Digital Initiatives and a faculty member in New York University’s Archives and Public History MA program.
