RFP: Local Non-Profit Project-based Web Designer Sought
Posted by Shawn(ta) Smith-Cruz on April 25, 2018 at 3:53 pmA Brooklyn-based collective archive for which I am a member is seeking someone to redesign its website. I am excited to share this call with folks at CUNY. I would also personally love it if something like Commons in a Box was adapted with this new plan. We are especially seeking applicants from lesbians and queer folks, but all will be considered. Please ask me questions if you have them and are interested in applying. Spread the word to any and all interested parties.
The Lesbian Herstory Archives is looking to redo our website and are calling on all designers to submit a proposal!
Our RFP can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/RFP-LHA
We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Digital Humanities Initiative
The CUNY Digital Humanities Initiative (CUNY DHI), launched in Fall 2010, aims to build connections and community among those at CUNY who are applying digital technologies to scholarship and pedagogy in the humanities. All are welcome: faculty, students, and technologists, experienced practitioners and beginning DHers, enthusiasts and skeptics.
We meet regularly on- and offline to explore key topics in the Digital Humanities, and share our work, questions, and concerns. See our blog for more information on upcoming events (it’s also where we present our group’s work to a wider audience). Help edit the CUNY Digital Humanities Resource Guide, our first group project. And, of course, join the conversation on the Forum.
