    Reminder notice to all of you that the CCRC has two meetings/events planned for this semester. Dates are as follows:

    Friday Feb 4 at the Graduate Center.

    1:00 – 3:00 General Meeting. Room TBD. Topics to include: CUNY’s new Community College; CUNY Writing Testing (CPE and CATW); Report on status of Adjunct Professors who teach writing at CUNY; Planning for April event.

    4:00-6:00 In the English Dept. 4th Floor. The English Department Friday Forum will be devoted to Basic Writing and Composition Scholarship. There will be a tribute to Rebecca Mlynarczyk, who is stepping back from many of her duties at the graduate Center and at Kingsborough Community College.

    Friday April 1 John Jay College

    12:00-2:00 CCRC General Meeting. Room TBD Focus on Adjunct Professors Teaching Composition at CUNY.

    3:00-5:00 Mina Shaughnessy Speaker Series presents John Trimbur and John Brereton. Room TBD
