Looking forward to seeing you all at Arturo’s!!! If your RSVP has changed
given the new location, please get in touch.

    Best,

    Matt

    On my way!

Not surprised to hear about Joe and Pat’s – Staten Island’s motto may as well be “unswayed and obstinate”!

Arturo’s is a better choice and they are not interlopers!

Sorry sounds like it’s been lotta trouble. I am adding. One more day to

Sorry sounds like it’s been a lot of trouble. I’m going to Come by

Just to say: this was so much fun!! Huge thanks to Matt and Krysia for making it happen! Looking forward to next time – though Luke and Chris were talking about stuffing us all into a van and taking us somewhere in far NJ…

    Great seeing folks at Arturo’s.

Have folks been to Una Pizza Napoletana? After seeing it reviewed today (with anchovies as the top recommended dish, but “all pizza” right on its heels), a friend did some sleuthing and confirmed rumors that the chef is opening a restaurant in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. If at some point down the line you find yourself in a strange van on the NJ Turnpike, rest assured that there should be some good pie at your destination.

I haven’t been to Una Pizza Napoletana yet, but it was on our shortlist for
our recent meeting! (I think it was too small, in the end.) This review is
great and I’d definitely like to go, either to the LES space or the NJ one!

One important note: the anchovies are recommended as an appetizer, NOT as a
pizza topping, which is as it should be.

    Yours in steadfast anti-anchovy-piehood,

    Matt
