While we’re in the topic of plug-ins, the current WP mobile plug-in breaks on many mobile devices. Can we get the WPTouch plug-in or an alternative that supports a responsive design? Or, are we stuck because we’re using a version of WP prior to 3.1?

The WPTouch plugin will be available on the Commons after our next site update on October 21.

The 1.4.8 release is live, and the WP Touch plugin is now available for blog owners.
