WordPress HELP!!

This group is for neophytes to WordPress who are trying to use it as a Bbd alternative and have questions that “everyone knows” the answers to already. Except those who don’t. Quick answers to specific questions is what I envision here, so we can set up our courses without spending hours trying to find out a simple answer. Of course, we NEED EXPERTS in the group to actually answer the questions. All experts and neophytes please join this group!!

    Hi,

    I’m trying to embed a Google Docs slideshow into a blog post. I made the presentation public, and Google Docs is telling me that this is the code to paste in to embed it:

    Oops, pasting in this code here doesn’t work. I’ll try it this way, changing all the bracket thingies to parentheses. Imagine they’re the bracket thingies instead.

    (iframe src=”https://docs.google.com/present/embed?id=dcdjz44h_189fxfbf7c5″ frameborder=”0″ width=”410″ height=”342″)(/iframe)

    When I paste that code into HTML edit mode and then go back to Visual edit mode, I see an outline of where the slideshow should appear. However, when I preview the post, it doesn’t appear, and when I save the draft, the code disappears.

    Does anyone know what’s going on or how to fix this?
