WordPress HELP!!

This group is for neophytes to WordPress who are trying to use it as a Bbd alternative and have questions that “everyone knows” the answers to already. Except those who don’t. Quick answers to specific questions is what I envision here, so we can set up our courses without spending hours trying to find out a simple answer. Of course, we NEED EXPERTS in the group to actually answer the questions. All experts and neophytes please join this group!!

Blog missing Admin panels

Hi All,

I just went to update my blog (long overdue!) and the admin panels are missing. All I get are profile and tools, and those are missing a lot of sub-entries. I’ve tried Googling for an answer, and they all seem to indicate an installation problem?

Ideas?

Sounds like you’re in the admin panel for a site where you’re only a Subscriber, not an Administrator. Can you confirm you’re in the correct location? It should be http://yoursubdomain.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/

I’m sorry that you cannot fully access your blog. I believe that your role might have been changed from admin to author. I will create a ticket for this issue and let you know when your administrative access has been restored.
