For someone who also struggle to organize her thoughts, I do agree that brainstorming about your topic is a good way to start and it lessens the amount of workload you have to do when writing.
I totally relate to doing assignments last minute, specially with the situation we currently find ourselves in. I do agree with summarizing each credible source to make the writing process much easier and effective.
At first, I didn’t really do much preparation whenever I would start an assignment, I would just dive right into it but I found out that it’s easier for me to prepare for a written assignment by creating some sor […]
I agree with the fact that the intro and the conclusion could have been stronger which is why it was adequate in my opinion. The topic/online community chosen was very interesting.
“Who Are The Flat Earthers” by Richi Barua
I’d give this essay a 75% because it was well structured and contained a brief analysis of the Flat Earthers community. The author’s opinions, reactions, and assumpt […]
I find it interesting how you mentioned the incels’ misogynistic ideologies because their inability to date women causes them to despise women for choosing “attractive” men which causes them to develop a low self esteem.
I like the fact that you mentioned that incels went down a bad path and steered away from their original purpose which was to find others like them and help each other out when it came to dating.
The author notes that the members of the incel community tend to blame women for not being able to date. According to Beauchamp, this led to violence and mistreatment of women. What was meant to be a community for […]

I like how you mentioned that Wu kept track of the post and comments of those who suffer from FD because it was a big part of her research in order to better understand the online community she was looking into.
I like how you mentioned the usefulness of the footnotes in terms of the reader not having to research the references Wu uses in her writing. I also agree that it helps build credibility.
Elise Wu is trying to portray the life of those who have a mental illness called Factitious disorder which is when one fakes an illness or exaggerates symptoms they may have. Although she has the disorder, I […]
I like how you pointed the fact that the group of men smoking avoided walking towards the area where many kids where playing because usually those type of people don’t often care about second hand smoke and how it […]

I decided to observe and pay attention to what people do and their reactions when in the train, especially in the subway. For the most part, I would usually be on my phone and not look up until I get to my stop […]
I find it interesting how you pointed out that Rosie had a bad history for lying because I feel like the undermines the credibility of the story. Certain parts of the story seemed to have happened but there were […]
I like the fact that you mentioned, how giving background information regarding the informants, especially Rosie was sort of used as a way to justify what was being done which was robbing and drugging rich men for […]
In the article, “Hustlers: The Real Story Behind the Movie”, there are multiple shared beliefs as well as rules shared amongst the strippers of the club. For example, they drew the line at having sex with cust […]
I’m glad that you made a connection between what Baldwin was describing and what is happening in today’s society. Racism is so deep-rooted in America’s system that it is still an issue that keeps on happening way […]
