As we conclude this impactful month, we’re putting a spotlight on several pioneering Black women from both the past and the present. Each woman we’re featuring holds a significant link to the city and state of New York.

Thank you for all who joined and supported The Black Institute annual cannaball. I’m happy to announce a good turnout of people at the event. Not only was I able to meet the president of TBI Ms. Lewis I was also lucky to meet many great people in the industry.

In a world that feels so unfair sometimes I’m glad to see there are some good souls out there fighting to even the playing fields. Money isn’t everything but it sure gives you access thanks to the Black Institute regardless of what you have they can help.

What would we do without Ms. Lewis? Who else fights for us like this?
