Aaron is a Ph.D. candidate in English at The Graduate Center. He teaches at Lehman College. His dissertation is on the depiction of suicide in British literature from roughly 1870 to 1930 and pays particular attention to its intersection with other media, including journalism and early texts from the emerging fields of sociology and psychoanalysis.
