I’ve exported an old site and imported it into a new Commons site. It’s working beautifully but the HOME link in the top-level menu points to the home of my old site. How does one fix this? This has happened to me before, but I’ve been too lazy to figure it out!

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeff

Hi Jeff– looks like it’s a custom link menu item pointing to http://jallred.net/wordpress/399/.

You should be able to update that URL here — https://allred720fa18.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/nav-menus.php.

    Best,

Nifty. Thanks, Luke. Definitely didn’t add a custom link, so must be a quirk of the import/export process.

I think it pulled the menu verbatim from the source site (looks like the Home link there was a custom link).

So awesome that you’re moving things to the Commons… please keep us posted if you find other quirks!
