WordPress HELP!!

This group is for neophytes to WordPress who are trying to use it as a Bbd alternative and have questions that “everyone knows” the answers to already. Except those who don’t. Quick answers to specific questions is what I envision here, so we can set up our courses without spending hours trying to find out a simple answer. Of course, we NEED EXPERTS in the group to actually answer the questions. All experts and neophytes please join this group!!

    After adding minor css to a Tribulant newsletter theme, the original theme was overwritten (in spite of giving my tweaked file a different name) and it is no longer visible at all. There is a message saying “301 Moved Permanently”.

    Also unable to upload an html file based on a theme (which is supposedly possible – it’s offered in the interface.)

    I created a testing site to work with this and will be glad to provide access if you can help me. Thanks in advance for any insight or advice you can offer.

      Always best to create a child theme when modifying the CSS for a variety of reasons most importantly to preserve the integrity of the theme, but, also to preserve your changes after the theme is updated by the theme developer.

      I do not understand the other part of your message regarding the upload of an html file. Why would you do that?
