I’m wondering if there is a way we could create a page in the wiki here that could serve as a directory of CUNY faculty and staff who maintain blogs. I’d love to know, for example, which other librarians might be blogging. And maybe those RSS feeds could be merged together into one unified stream that is republished here (people would have to opt in to this). The Planet software does a nice job of aggregating RSS feeds into a river of news: http://www.planetplanet.org/ For an example, see Planet Code4Lib, which merges together lots of feeds from librarian bloggers: http://planet.code4lib.org/

Stephen, I’d also love to see a list of CUNY bloggers. The Planet Code4Lib RSS feed is amazing, though I wonder if it might be a bit jarring to see all of our various colleges and disciplines mashed up into the same feed?

An aggregated feed for Academic Commons blogs is possible. I for one would appreciated seeing colleges and disciplines, who otherwise might appreciate not being in the same conversation, mashed together.
You could certainly create a wiki page here with an ongoing list, and create a feed from that. I would point out that obtaining information about faculty blogs will be an ongoing, challenging task (but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it).
