The Group for Group Admins

A meta-group for all of the Commons’ group admins so that the CUNY Academic Commons team can share information and keep you updated about changes to the site (and especially the Group interface). This group will also provide a way for us to get feedback from you about features you’d like to see added and ways we can improve the Group functionality.

    Apologies for the cross-posting.

    My office has a few openings, and want to ask for your help to share with potential candidates withing your networks:

    Academic Technology Specialist 

    Under supervision of the Director of Educational Technology, the Academic Technology Specialist will implement complex technical programs and/or projects; perform a range of work in development/programming, communications, technical support, instructional design, and other similar functions to support faculty, staff and students depending on the needs of the Office of Educational Technology; and provide input to educational technology policy-making decisions.

    Instructional Designers (PT)

    Under supervision of the Coordinator of Educational Technology, the part-time Instructional Designer will be involved in various projects, such as training, communications, technical support, instructional design, online learning support, and other similar functions to support and enhance teaching and learning.
