The Group for Group Admins

A meta-group for all of the Commons’ group admins so that the CUNY Academic Commons team can share information and keep you updated about changes to the site (and especially the Group interface). This group will also provide a way for us to get feedback from you about features you’d like to see added and ways we can improve the Group functionality.

Feature request/Guidance: Taking Polls

  • I’d like to take polls within my group.  Here are two examples:

    1.  having group members vote on the date and time of a conference (preferably with a calendar-type interface) think Doodle
    2. having group members vote on a keynote presenter for a conference

    I could do these collaboratively in a doc (as a table with all group members listed), but it is a bit clumsy.

    Has anyone been able to do this?
