Accessibility Workshop
TLC Mid Winter Institute, 2026Creating accessible courses and materials may seem like an afterthought or burden, but integrating these practices before the semester begins is the first step towards universal design for learning, which ensures students can engage with course materials on the first day of class and fosters a classroom environment where all students can thrive. With awareness and preparation, instructors can design materials, assignments, and classroom experiences that support learners with diverse abilities, needs, and interests.
Join us for a discussion and working session dedicated to increasing accessibility in your course for Spring 2026 and beyond. Please bring course materials or questions that you would like to share and discuss with the group.
