Howdy y’all,

RUG is back on! This week we’re starting a series on web scraping and text analysis in R. This week’s theme will be web scraping, where we will learn the basics of the rvest package (similar to Beautiful Soup for python). In addition, Yuxiao is leading a workshop on predictive modeling in R right after the workshop on Friday, so we will open up the space for any questions related to the workshop.

As usual, we will be meeting on Zoom from 1PM to 2:30 PM (link below). Looking forward to seeing everyone!
