IPE Lab: Interprofessional Education (IPE) for Health Professions Educators
An open group for health professions educators interested in interprofessional education and collaborative practice (IPE). Volunteer moderators wanted!
This group is founded on the premise that health professions education programs must revitalize their curricula to meet the changing needs of 21st century healthcare practice. High functioning, interprofessional healthcare teams are a vital part of today’s healthcare system, as they significantly contribute to the quality and efficiency of patient-centered care delivery.
As health professions education programs look to move beyond traditional “silo”-based education models, we seek to develop a community of practice dedicated to the sustainable integration of IPE in health professions curricula at CUNY and our many clinical and community-based partnering organizations.
