Feminist Political Group
This group is born from the necessity to have a space in the GC dedicated to feminist gathering and organizing that allows us to bring our political and community needs forward in an equitable way.
Historically feminism gave the chance to look at the world in different ways and now it’s once again time that we take up this responsibility for a new generation of CUNY students living through and after COVID.
The group’s main mission will be a zine that can get together our ideas, art and activism.
We will have monthly meetings and probably a support group for women who are experiencing abusive relationships.
Together we can make a difference, let’s hold tight to each other, and let’s continue creating the networks we all need.
