I was viewing the slideshow for “Open Source In Education — Tech&Learning Conference Presentation ’09”- ( http://www.slideshare.net/wstites/open-source-in-education-2877092 ) (of which Jim Groom is used as a reference) and saw that Mahara was listed as an open source ( http://www.osalt.com ) web app for ePortfolios. I went to the Mahara website and viewed the Introduction to Mahara video ( http://demo.mahara.org/view/view.php?id=606 ). Found it interesting and thought I’d share it. Has anyone has heard of Mahara? Thoughts?
