Facilitated by TLC Online Faculty Fellow Michelle Strah, this seminar will look at theory and praxis in experience and information design applied to contemporary challenges in criminal justice education including:
Using experience design, universal design for learning principles (UDL) and SUNY’s OSCQR principles for digital transformation.
Incorporating new technologies and zero-cost materials while respecting accessibility and information design principles

We will reflect on readings, discussions, and their own teaching through weekly micro-assignments aligned with our individual teaching and learning needs a summative assignment assessing our own courses with these approaches in mind as the basis for selecting two principles/strategies from the seminar to implement in our Spring 2021 courses.
