As you know, I have served as the Chair of the Eportfolio Subcommittee for almost five years. What started as a fledgling little committee that connected a handful of small eportfolio pilot projects across CUNY has now become a large-scale project, with many facets and features. For 2013-14, we have a date for the CUNY Eportfolio Symposium: Wednesday, April 2, 2014, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are also currently discussing how best to represent the committee on at least one – probably two – sessions at the CUNY IT Conference. These are minor pieces of the ongoing work of the committee.

As we enter our fifth year, re-envisioning our mission and bridging to new leadership should be key goals for 2013-14. And we need at least one new co-chair – if not a new chair.

Following the terrific lead of Bruce Rosenbloom, who recently set up the Disruptive Technologies Subcommittee, I have created a survey to help us organize.
