BMCC Core Humanities

This is a group of BMCC faculty members sharing pedagogical ideas for teaching Core Humanities texts. These texts include for ENG 101 Plato’s The Republic, Mary Wollstonecraft’s A Vindication of the Rights of Woman, Federalist Papers & Frederick Douglass’ “What the Slave is to the Fourth of July,” and for ENG 201 Sophocles’ Antigone and Toni Morrison’s Song of Solomon.
