Are you confused or intimidated by the IRB process? During the Futures Initiative’s upcoming “Thursday Dialogue,” Marianna Azar of the Graduate Center’s Human Research Protection Program, in conversation with FI Fellow Kashema Hutchinson, will address a very popular question: Why does the IRB ask all these questions? The dialogue aims to explain the central mission of committees overseeing human research and demystify the IRB review process, criteria, requirements and more.
