Writing the narrative was an interesting experience for me because I’m not used to writing about myself. In high school English classes, the only experience I had with writing was the college personal essay. One thing I struggled with was describing my events as vividly as possible. I wanted my details to be understood almost exactly as they had happened. Another struggle I faced was creating a conclusion that properly summed up the events of my paper. Regardless of these bumps in the road, I enjoyed being able to tell a story about something I’m really passionate about.
