Of Possible Interest: Two Slideshows about Citations
Posted by Jill Cirasella (she/her) on October 8, 2020 at 3:35 pmHi ScholComm Roundtablers,
Last week at the GC I gave an introductory workshop on the role of citations in the scholarly conversation, and this week I co-led one about citation-based metrics with the wonderful NYU librarian Margaret Smith. I wanted to share the slides with you in case they give you ideas for scholcomm instruction or outreach possibilities at your campuses. (The really great content about the gender citation gap is all by Meg — I can’t claim any credit!)
