Inventory request: COIL courses

  In order to explore the practical options for adding a course attribute, I’d appreciate it if those of you who have taught COIL courses could please send the course number and title and term(s) that you have taught these using international virtual exchange, on any scale, to coil@cuny.edu.  If you have a COIL course coming up (definitely on the schedule), please share as well.

  The immediate purpose will be to have specific cases ready when asking the University Registrar about course attribute options.  However, my office is also interested in anything that can help us estimate how much COIL activity is already taking place.  So if you’re willing to share additional details (e.g. the partner university, whether your department or other unit provided support for course development, etc.), that’s also welcome.

  Great idea, Kim. I have a conference call scheduled for later this week with a colleague from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain) to brainstorm about Spring 2020 collaboration. Keeping my fingers crossed that we can design an exchange project between us.
