Google Maps & Google Calendar Mashup

    I was thinking about what Danielle mentioned in her study about having a map of all the CUNY libraries with their hours. Couldn’t this be done in a Google Map and GCalendar? The events within the calendar could be the different campuses, where the XML feed could populate the map. Just a thought.

    The weak point is the willingness of all the CUNY libraries to keep the hours info up to date. I like the idea and think that your solution will work but we’d have to come up with a plan to coordinate the maintenance of the hours info or assign someone (or a small team) to do it on an ongoing basis.

    It is a great idea, but we really needed a team to be in charge of it 🙂
