    Thanks to everyone who voted in the scheduling poll for the final 2024-25 meeting of the LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable. The winning time is Monday, June 2 at 10:00-11:30am.

    This session will feature lightning talks on a variety of scholarly communication topics. If you’d like to attend, please register here.

    Also, please consider giving a lightning talk (approx. 5 minutes) on one of the following:

    • Summarize/review a journal article or book chapter on any aspect of scholarly communication.
    • Summarize a conference presentation you gave in 2024-25 that has something to do with scholcomm.
    • Summarize an article you published in 2024-25 that has something to do with scholcomm.

    If you’re potentially interested in giving such a lightning talk, please add your name to this document.

    (As always, there is no need to give a lightning talk in order to attend this event!)

      This is the final call for lightning talk volunteers for the LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable meeting on Monday, June 2 at 10am! (We have four volunteers so far and would love another one or two!) Sign up to give a lightning talk here.

      Also, regardless of whether you’re interested in presenting, you’re welcome to register to attend!

      PS: Please also think about whether you’d be interested in chairing or co-chairing the LACUNY ScholComm Roundtable in 2025-26. Monica and I are happy to field any questions you might have.
