Scheduling upcoming LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable meetings

  • There will be two more meetings of the LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable this academic year: a discussion-based meeting in April (60 minutes) and a May event with lightning talks related to peer review (90 minutes).

    April meeting (60 minutes, Zoom):

May lightning talks about peer review (90 minutes, Zoom):

    • If you’re interested in attending the lightning talk event, please complete this other Calendly poll. (No pressure to present — non-presenting attendees will be welcome!)
    • Also, if you’re interested in giving a lightning talk (5-7 minutes) related to peer review, please add your name to this document. If you know what you’d like to present about, please indicate that as well; if you don’t, please still add your name, and there will be time to figure the rest out. Topics can include: a less common or non-traditional form of peer review, a summary of an article examining a specific aspect of peer review, arguments for/against peer review, etc. Not sure if your idea would work? Get in touch!

    Questions? Please reach out!

    Thanks,
Jill (2023-24 chair, LACUNY Scholarly Communications Roundtable)
