I clicked on an email link from Academia.edu to claim authorship of a poster Nanette Johnson and I created for a scholarly communication conference in 2018.
I then visited the Academia site and saw that the title for our poster in the Academia metadata showed the pdf for a paper “Establishment and verification of nonlinear bolthead connection stiffness theoretical modelbased on Levenberg-Marquardt method.” Not our paper.
Any thoughts on what Academia is up to here?
I attached a screenshot.
Now trying to figure out how to detach from this incorrect association.
Thanks for input.
Beth
