    Dear Poets Togethers,

    Thought some of you might be interested — esp if interested in Irish poetry, Irish studies, and/or avant garde poetry — we’re launching a special issue of the journal RISE dedicated to postmodern Belfast poet, Medbh McGuckian. (She’s the poet love of my life!)

    It’s this Thursday at 1pm NYC time. The poet will be live on the zoom with us, reading and taking questions, as will the issue contributors, including moi. 🙂 (I have an article in the issue and an interview with McGuckian.)

    Dear Maureen,
    Glad to see Irish Studies move into Europe as there is sometimes a
    nationalist trend. Look forward to the program.

    and yes, this org is somehow connected to the EU? really wonderful. their 2023 conference will be in belfast.
