  • Spring 2021 LACUNY SCRT Meeting: Thursday, February 25th, 3:00-5:00pm

    Hi fellow SCRT members!

Please save the date for our next Scholarly Communications Roundtable meeting on Thursday, February 25th from 3:00-5:00pm.

We thought it would be interesting to discuss HuMetricsHSS, which is also a nice extension of our last meeting on citation metrics. We plan to invite one or two CUNY folks who are more familiar with HuMetrics to help facilitate our discussion. Please see a tentative agenda below:

    • Check in — What’s happening on your campus?
    • HuMetrics discussion
    • Update on Spring 2021 SCRT event
    • Any other scholcomm business or announcements

Please reach out with any additional agenda items! The Zoom link is below.

Joanna Thompson is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

    • This is something new to me and it looks fascinating.  I have passed the HuMetricsHSS link on to our Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences and our Associate Provost of Faculty and Administration at Brooklyn College.

I see from the website that they offer workshop guidelines and resources.  Will the LACUNY meeting be making use of any of that material?  Regardless, I am looking forward to hearing this topic covered.

      Thank you for organizing.

      Beth

    • Hi SCRTers!

This is a reminder about our meeting this Thursday, February 25th from 3:00-5:00pm! We will talk about HumetricsHSS and share scholcomm news (see rough agenda above). Nancy has put together some discussion questions to get us started, but please take a look at the HumetricsHSS site and bring your questions and comments to the meeting.

      See you Thursday!
