Academic Interests

I am interested in [Rhetoric], [Composition], [Linguistics], [Digital media], [Writing across the curriculum] [ESL]. In addition to my academic research, I am also interested in [botanical and nature illustration].  I illustrated two books, Field Guide to the Neighborhood Birds of New York City (2015) and Field Guide to the Street Trees of New York City (2011), written by Leslie Day, and published by Johns Hopkins University Press. I continue to study at the New York Botanical Gardens and develop my drawing skills and my understanding of botany and nature illustration. My blog is http://drawingonthenaturalworld.blogspot.com.
