Peer forward national nonprofit organization- El Puente Academy For Peace and Justice High School. September 2022-June 2025

Trained and participated in workshops organized by the Peer Forward Organization on how to effectively mentor and support peers.
Organized and facilitated workshops and events for over 80 high school students, providing information about college opportunities, applications, FAFSA, TAP, and personal statements.
Advised 40 juniors on researching and identifying colleges that matched their academic and personal goals.
Guided 40 seniors through the SUNY and CUNY application process.
EPIIC group-El Puente Academy for Peace and Justice High School December 2022-June 2025
Represented school and peers in international debates organized by Tufts University’s EPIIC Program in Boston.
Researched and analyzed the political systems and global perspectives of Benin, the United Arab Emirates, and Brazil.
Presented arguments on key international topics, including Global Reparations for Slavery, Reforming the UN for a More Equitable World, and Democracy on the Brink: Global Summit on Democracy.
Strengthened public speaking, analytical, and cross-cultural communication skills through collaboration and formal debate.

Math Internship- El Puente Academy for Peace and Justice High School March-June 2025
Taught and supported over 80 high school students in developing skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and problem-solving.
Assisted teachers in leading math lessons and adapting instruction to meet different learning styles and student needs.
Evaluated student work and provided constructive feedback to promote academic growth and confidence in math.
Gymnastic assistant coach- Ms J’s Gymnastics July- August 2023
Plan and led gymnastic training sessions with the coach for four to seven-year-old kids.
Planned engaging warm-up games and group exercises to build trust, cooperation, and respect among four to seven-year-old gymnasts.
