Sara Jane Stoner

Writing Fellow, Brooklyn College WAC Program 2013-2014

Sara Jane Stoner is a 5th year PhD student in English at the GC, as well as a writer and performer who holds an MFA in fiction from Indiana University. She specializes in 20th c. to contemporary prose poetics, queer theory, manifestic feminisms, and writing pedagogy, and currently teaches at Brooklyn College and Cooper Union. She believes in the radical potential of strong writing centers and engaged teaching. Her first book of prose is forthcoming from Portable Press @ Yo-Yo Labs.
