Professionally I am a [professional developer] for the [adult education] sector where I train Pre-GED and [GED] teachers in [reading], [writing] and [digital literacy] instruction. I am also an [Instructional Technology] Fellow for CUNY SPS where I support the work of faculty who teach [online], [asynchronous] classes.

I am also a graduate student in the Graduate Center’s [Urban Education] program, and I am working on a [qualitative] study of the impact that [charter school] policy and proliferation has had on the school choice decisions of Black parents living in low-income and racially segregated Brooklyn neighborhoods.
