Nick Bacon

Nick Bacon is the the Research Associate in Urban Studies at Trinity College’s Center for Urban and Global Studies (CUGS), a Ph.D. candidate in urban anthropology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY), and a graduate teaching fellow at Lehman College, where he teaches courses in anthropology and urban studies. Bacon’s research is on the transformation of secondary cities, regions, and suburbs in New England. Most recently, he co-edited a book with Xiangming Chen, entitled Confronting Urban Legacy: Rediscovering Hartford and New England’s Forgotten Cities – the first volume in urban studies to publish scholarly research on specifically secondary cities in the Northeast.
