The Medgar Evers College Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is dedicated to uniting the student population in the acknowledgement of Medgar Wiley Evers’s historic commitment to justice and his contributions to human rights as the First Field Secretary for the Mississippi State Conference of NAACP Branches. We are strongly encouraged to incentivize leaders of today to reflect upon Evers’s life and to honor his legacy.
