Educational movie on sexism

I directed and edited a short film on gender inequality, entitled “SEXISMO EN EEUU: REALIDAD Y SOLUCIONES” (SEXISM IN THE USA: REALITY AND SOLUTIONS”) that I submitted to the 1st Madrid EducaCiencia Film Festival, 2023.  I was very happy that the film was nominated for an award in the category of Inclusivity and Social Education. It is available at https://lnkd.in/ezP83ek8. This film includes the participation of eleven of my students who share their knowledge on the concept, causes and relevant data of sexism in the USA in the areas of wages, political representation and right to physical integrity; and try to provide some solutions. These students are all part of one of the classes I am teaching this semester, SOC 101: Introduction to Sociology (in Spanish) at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
