Merrill Sovner

PhD candidate in political science and Assistant Director, EU Studies Center

Merrill is a researcher focused on the representative role played by civil society organizations in democracies and the role of philanthropy in democratization and the transmission of international norms. She previously worked on civil society programs for the Open Society Foundations and on evaluations for the Atlantic Philanthropies.
