Academic Interests
My research looks at the contemporary social impacts of land loss/land
change in southeastern Louisiana through the history of technical and
sociocultural relationships between land, water, labor, and science in
the lower river region. In addition to my research I also teach courses
on cultural anthropology, race, and urban anthropology at Hunter
College.
